Tea-licious Popsicles Recipe

Tea-licious Popsicles Recipe

Beat the heat and blend the goodness of tea with natural fruit flavours - these frozen treats are a perfect way to savour the summer.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of water
- 4 teaspoons of loose leaf tea or 4 tea bags of your choice (try with our Peach Blossom White Iced Tea Pack)
- Sweetener (optional), such as sugar, honey, or agave syrup
- Fresh fruit slices, berries, or herbs (optional for added flavor and decoration)

Instructions:

1. Brew the Tea: Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a kettle or pot. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the loose leaf tea or tea bags to the water. Let it steep for the recommended time according to the tea variety (usually 3-5 minutes).

2. Sweeten (Optional): If desired, add sweetener to the tea while it's still hot and stir until dissolved. Adjust the sweetness according to your taste preferences.

3. Cool the Tea: Allow the tea to cool to room temperature. You can speed up the cooling process by placing it in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes.

4. Prepare the Popsicle Molds: Arrange your popsicle molds on a tray or flat surface. If your molds have sticks or lids, insert them into the molds.

5. Add Extras (Optional): For added flavor and decoration, you can drop in fresh fruit slices, berries, or herbs into each popsicle mold. This step is optional but can elevate the visual appeal and taste of your popsicles.

6. Pour the Tea: Carefully pour the cooled tea into each popsicle mold, filling them almost to the top. Leave a little space for expansion as the popsicles freeze.

7. Freeze: Place the popsicle tray or molds in the freezer and let them freeze for about 1 hour or until partially set. Then, insert the popsicle sticks fully into each mold. This will help them stay in place while freezing.

8. Freeze Completely: Return the popsicles to the freezer and let them freeze completely for at least 4-6 hours, or overnight.

9. Unmold and Enjoy: Once fully frozen, remove the popsicles from the molds. To easily unmold them, run the molds briefly under warm water to loosen the popsicles, and gently pull them out.

Experiment with different tea varieties and combinations, as well as adding different fruits or herbs to create your own unique popsicle creations. Enjoy!
